The newest additions

Video editing keeps growing. Here's what just shipped.

Match a Reference Cut

Pick a video you like as a reference, add your own photos or clips, and get an automatic beat-synced remix in its style. Find it under "Quick Cut" on the Edit tab — no typing needed.

Beat-Synced Slideshow

Pick your photos and a track — get an automatic beat-synced slideshow. Also under "Quick Cut", just a few taps.

Voiceover

Say "voiceover" to open the watch-and-record panel — narrate over your video scene by scene, or generate narration in one of the built-in voice personas.

Multicam

Add two or more angles of the same scene to your materials, say "multicam," and the picture automatically cuts to whoever's speaking.

On-Screen Text

Say "add red text in the middle: Welcome" — color, position, and timing are all optional. Great for titles or watermarks.

Speech Cleanup

Say "cut the filler" or "tighten the pauses" — it finds verbal tics and long silences and cleans them up automatically.

Full Guide

How it works: just say it

Everything below works right now — phrase it however feels natural, this is just a reference.

Why semacut

Why semacut, not the rest

Just talk

No nested menus. Cut, keep, insert, replace, speed up — say it in plain words.

Edit by meaning, fix by voice

Not just by timestamp — pinpoint the sentence you said. Got a word wrong? Re-say it in your own voice.

Undo 50 steps, fearlessly

Every step is reversible and checkpointed. You can never paint yourself into a corner.

Studio-grade sound

Denoise, auto-balance levels, prevent clipping; the music ducks the moment you speak.

Voice cloning, done right

Clone your own voice to fix flubs or narrate, with a transparent, lawful consent flow.

No VIP traps

No fees hidden behind templates. No thousand buttons you'll never touch.
